are glad that you are interested in summer work at our ranch. North Fork
is a great place to spend the summer, meet new people, work hard and
have lots of fun. If you enjoy serving people, your time here will prove
to be an invaluable experience. |

Wrangler
|
|
|
|
You will work with the
entire horse operation which includes feeding, grooming, doctoring and
of course cleaning up after the horses. You will also conduct SAFE,
enjoyable, entertaining and educational trail rides for our guests. You
will need to know basic horsemanship well enough to instruct our guests. |
|
Cook
|
|
|
|
This is one of the most
important jobs on the ranch. It is also one of the hardest and yet, most
rewarding jobs. You will receive a great sense of achievement with
endless compliments for a job and a meal well done! |
|
Grounds Maintenance |
|
|
|
This position has one employee, to maintain the
visual, manicured image of the property at a “resort” level. |
|
Guest Services
|
|
|
|
This position has three employees, each person, male or
female, must be competent in all areas described. They will rotate
between the responsibilities and work together to get the job done.
These people must be outgoing, energetic, enthusiastic and patient with
people and children. They will be the “leaders” in getting the group
motivated and participating in the activities. |

Kids Wrangler
|
|
|
|
One person, male / female. To provide the children under
age 6 with a safe, positive and fun experience with the ponies & petting
zoo critters as well as the general ranch experience. You will be their
“cowboy buddy”. You will conduct yourself as their pier and role model
at all times adhering to wrangler dress code and ethics. |
|
Housekeeping / Wait Staff
|
|
|
|
This position involves
alternating between housekeeping and wait staff. You will be expected to
do daily housekeeping around the ranch as well as preparing for,
serving, and cleaning up after meals. |
