NORTH FORK OF THE SOUTH PLATTE RIVER
Embark on an extraordinary fly-fishing journey along the North Fork of the South Platte River, a scenic waterway that stretches approximately 50 miles before converging with the South Platte River just 20 miles from the city of Denver. Flowing with waters sourced from Robert's Tunnel, the North Fork boasts a distinctive fishery, making each cast an adventure. The majority of this river winds through private property, ensuring a tranquil and secluded environment for avid anglers seeking an exclusive escape.
Located within 50 feet from the Lodge, this river is abundant with Brown Trout and Rainbow Trout. Known for its hefty catches, this river offers the chance to reel in trout weighing up to 25 pounds. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced angler, the gentle flows of this river make it an ideal spot for fishermen of all skill levels. NORTH FORK RANCH POND
Join our fly-fishing casting classes by the pond, open for both skill-building sessions and guest fishing. Families can take advantage of spin fishing, making it an ideal opportunity for independent fishing adventures during their ranch stay.
Our guests will also have exclusive access to fish on nearby private properties along the North Fork, all within a short 5 to 10-minute drive from the ranch. Explore other renowned locations such as Boxwood Gulch Ranch, Long Meadow Ranch, and Rowdy Trout Ranch for an extended angling experience.
